Pentair Industrial Carbflex Filter Cartridges Feature Advanced Fibredyne Technology for Increased Filtration Performance
Filters Provide High Sediment Reduction, Minimal Chlorine Taste and Odor
SHEBOYGAN, WI, May 18, 2010 /Industrial PR News/ -- Pentair Industrial announces the Carbflex Series CFB-Plus Modified Molded Block Filter Cartridges--affording the highest sediment reduction levels found in a carbon cartridge. The Carbflex Series CFB-Plus cartridges deliver up to two times the chlorine taste and odor reduction, as well as up to two times the dirt-holding capability of traditional blocks. Carbflex Series CFB-Plus cartridges are well suited for industrial and commercial filtration applications, including residential and food service.
Carbflex Series CFB-Plus cartridges offer the benefits of a sediment filter and a carbon block in a single cartridge. The cartridges use proprietary Fibredyne technology to produce a unique filter media. Constructed by attaching a powdered activated carbon to a cellulose-free synthetic fiber matrix, the resulting filter media offers advanced filtration and dirt-holding capacities--in whatever form they are used. Carbflex Series CFB-Plus cartridges are available in two models, the CAF-250 and CAF-450, which are manufactured in 2.8- and 4.5-inch diameters.
