ROCHESTER, NY, April 06, 2009 /Industrial PR News/ -- Gizmo Engineering introduces its first Intrinsically Safe liquid level alarm for tanks. Also works well in drums or IBC tote tanks. Battery powered or AC adapter power. It can run for years from battery power as there is zero power drain when the unit is not alarming. Loud pulsing alarm cuts through the loudest industrial noise. Push button feature to silence the alarm.
Because its battery powered, there is no cumbersome and expensive wiring needed. Very easy to install since it comes in any mounting necessary: many sizes of threaded plugs, bolt-on flanges, a flat plate, or bulkhead feedthrough.
The unit is built from the ground up for wet, corrosive environments and rough handling. The float switch is protected from physical abuse inside a pipe, and further protected from debris by a screen for years of reliable service.
UL certified Intrinsically Safe to ANSI/UL 913
Meets NFPA 30A, UL 2244 and UFC requirements
