As president and CEO of the firm, he is responsible for overseeing site selection, development, grading and paving, contract negotiations, and client consultations. Influenced by his father, who was a general contractor, Mr. Garrett was inspired to become involved in construction. He considers building a successful business to be the most fulfilling aspect of his career and attributes his success to his hard work, communication skills and supportive colleagues. He received an Associate of Applied Science in Electronics from Vance-Granville Community College in 1986 and volunteers for local charitable organizations.
